The Payroll Data Entry Operator is responsible for preparing, processing, and inputting payroll- related data into payroll systems in an accurate and timely manner. This role supports payroll operations by ensuring data integrity, completeness, and compliance with labor law and company procedures. The position is suitable for detail- oriented individuals with strong numerical skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
· Compile, verify accuracy, and sort payroll source documents (e.g., timesheets, employee records, salary adjustments)
· Input and update payroll data into systems (e.g., working hours,
salary, deductions, benefits) within time limits
· Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible
· Generate basic payroll reports and maintain proper documentation and filing
· Cross- check payroll data against supporting documents to ensure accuracy
· Comply with payroll procedures, data integrity standards, and company policies
· Ensure strict confidentiality of payroll and employee information
· Maintain and update employee payroll records (new hires, terminations, changes)
· Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents
The employee is liable for keeping the confidentiality of all technological and business secrets of the Company during the employment. The NDA (Non- Disclosure Agreement) is signed off
Job Qualifications
1. Educational Background
Associate or Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Knowledge & Skills
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive data
Strong numerical skills and attention to details
Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
Intermediate level of English (especially in reading & writing) is preferred
Basic understanding of payroll concepts (salary, overtime, deductions)
Good command of computer skills and MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Office 365)
Experience
Experience in payroll or accounting is an advantage
0–1 year of experience in data entry, accounting support, or administrative roles
Attitude
High level of accuracy and responsibility
Willingness to learn and develop payroll knowledge
Compliance with policies, regulations and rules of the company
Able to adapt to the working environment and corporate culture
Ability to work either independently or as part of a team
