OBJECTIVES
- Ensure that the reputation and image of the kitchen office be retained and improved at all times
- ensure all administrations are going smoothly with others departements
- acts on issues and concerns in her fields of activity immediately
MAIN DUTIES:
Working in kitchen office, ensure the communication between the Management or Executive Chef with all kitchen staff runs smoothly. Typing all menus and distribute them as well as all function sheets to all kitchen sections.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow hotel rules and regulations at all times.
Assist the Executive Chef in running all kitchen administration jobs.
Keep good rapport with all staff, especially with F&B secretary and banquet sales team
Follow the administration works to help preparing food promotions
Work with computer, do all paper works belong to kitchen sections: enter the food order, costing sheets, menu pictures…

Type all menus and send them to people concerned
Transfer all informations from Hotel management to kitchen staff according to the hotel policy

Keep good relationships with all staff at all times.

Perform any other duties as assigned by Executive Chef
• All ambassadors may be assigned to other duties in the hotel as and when required by business levels.
• All ambassadors are required to comply with every reasonable request from their hierarchical supervisor(s) within an amount of time that it takes to comply under normal circumstances.
GENERAL DUTIES:
Health and Safety
• Ensure the safety of the persons and the property of all within the premises by fairly applying Hotel Regulations by strict adherence to existing laws, statutes etc.
• Ensure that all emergency procedures are rehearsed, implemented and enforced to provide for the security and safety of guests and employees
• Be fully conversant with all departmental Fire, Emergency and Bomb procedures
• Ensure that all potential and real Hazards are reported immediately and rectified
• Ensure all staff within the department work in a manner which is safe and unlikely to give risk of harm or injury to selves or others
To be fully conversant with:
• Methods of accepted payment of the company
• Hotel Health and Safety policy and procedures
• Hotel standards of operation and departmental procedures
• Hotel fire procedures
• Short and long term company marketing promotions
• Hotel security procedures
• Sofitel Keys of Luxury and Appearance guidelines
• Sofitel “BE Magnifique” vision and its corresponding strategies
• Hotel Facilities and attractions
