Product Planning Executive

Drive effective merchandise planning and inventory management for the audio product portfolio (e.g., speakers, headphones, soundbars, accessories) by aligning supply with market demand.
This role ensures optimal SKU allocation, stock health, and purchasing plans across all sales channels (showroom, dealers, e- commerce), ultimately maximizing sell- out performance while minimizing inventory risks and costs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Merchandise Planning & Allocation
Develop and execute SKU- level allocation plans for audio products across: Showrooms, Dealers, distributors, Online channels
Balance stock distribution based on: Sales performance, Store potential, Regional demand
Inventory Monitoring & Optimization
Proactively recommend: Stock reallocation between locations, clearance / promotion plans for aging inventory, ensure optimal stock coverage (DOH) and turnover rate
Monitor end- to- end inventory health (warehouse + channel level): Identify low- stock, overstock, and slow- moving SKUs
Sales Forecasting & Demand Planning
Support and refine
sales forecasts by SKU/category
based on:
Historical sell- out data
Seasonality (e.g., peak seasons, campaigns)
Product lifecycle (new launch vs. mature SKUs)
Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to align forecasts with:
Product launches
Channel strategies
Campaign plans
Purchasing & Supply Coordination
Propose purchasing plans for audio products based on: forecast demand, current inventory levels, lead time from suppliers
Track: purchase orders, production timelines (for imported or exclusive products), delivery schedules
Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to avoid:
Stock- outs on key SKUs
Excess inventory on low- performing SKUs
Performance Tracking & Reporting
Prepare and analyze key metrics:
Deliver weekly/monthly reports with actionable insights: SKU performance, channel performance, inventory risks & opportunities
Forecast accuracy
Sell- in vs. sell- out
Stock aging
Inventory turnover
Assortment & Portfolio Optimization
Evaluate and optimize
product assortment per channel/store
Entry vs. premium segmentation
Core SKUs vs. niche SKUs
Recommend:
Phase- out plan for underperforming products
New product allocation strategy
SKU prioritization

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, or related field
2–4 years experience in: Merchandise planning / Demand planning / Supply chain. Preferably in consumer electronics or audio industry
Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret: Sales data, inventory metrics
Proficiency in:
Data tools / ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc. is a plus)
Excel (advanced)
Power BI
Understanding of:
Retail operations (sell- in vs. sell- out)
Product lifecycle & seasonality
Mindset & Behavior
Strong ownership and proactive problem- solving
Ability to work cross- functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Operations
Commercial mindset (not just supply planning, but impact on sales)
Detail- oriented and data- driven
