Production Engineer

Monitor and control daily production operations to ensure output, quality, and efficiency targets are achieved.
Initiate and implement productivity and process improvement projects (Kaizen, 5S, Lean, Six Sigma).
Provide guidance and training for operators on work instructions and safety procedures.
Manage and monitor production equipment; coordinate with the maintenance team to handle breakdowns or abnormalities.
Collect, consolidate, and analyze production data to prepare performance reports (OEE, Yield, Defect Rate, etc.).
Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production processes.
Analyze production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or related fields).
Good communication and report- writing skills in English or Japanese.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in production or process engineering in a manufacturing environment
Strong problem- solving, analytical thinking, and continuous improvement mindset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
