PRODUCTION ENGINEER

JOB PURPOSE:

Lead the development of products with a strong understanding of customer requirements in design, process, and quality by coordinating with the project leader and cross- functional teams to ensure on- time delivery of qualified products, providing support in design, process, and problem- solving, and preparing and reviewing the technical team’s PPAP deliverables.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Liaising with other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs, and labor required.
Obtaining any materials and equipment required.
Analyzing all facets of production and making recommendations for improvement.
Drawing up production schedules and budgets for projects.
Supervising the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.
Keeping abreast of advancements in engineering and production, and sharing knowledge with co- workers.
Identifying, documenting, and reporting unsafe practices.
Scheduling meetings with relevant departments and stakeholders.
Diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations and training.

Proficiency in MS Office.
Bachelor of mechanical, automotive or mechantronics major.
Super written and verbal communication skills.
English writing and reading skills.
At least 3 years working of experience as a Production Engineer in a Manufacturing Company.
Have knowledge of 5 core tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP) and 7 QC tools are the plus.
