Production Manager

The Production Manager / Pre- Production Manager will be responsible for leading pre- production and production activities for a newly established garment factory. This role plays a key part in factory set- up, production readiness, process optimization, and ensuring smooth mass production in line with quality, cost, and delivery targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Factory Set- up & Pre- Production
• Coordinate with IE, QA, Technical, and Merchandising teams to ensure production readiness.
• Lead pre- production activities including sample review, PP meetings, BOM, technical feasibility, and risk assessment.
• Support factory build- up phase: layout planning, production flow setup, manpower planning, and SOP establishment.
Production Management
• Monitor production efficiency, productivity, and WIP; identify and resolve bottlenecks.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and buyer requirements.
• Plan, organize, and control daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
Team Leadership
• Build, lead, and train production teams including line leaders and supervisors.
• Work closely with HR and GM on manpower planning and workforce development.
• Set KPIs, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement.
Cross- functional Coordination
• Act as a key business partner to the GM on production strategy and operational decisions.
• Collaborate with IE, QA, Supply Chain, and Admin teams to ensure smooth operations.
