Production manager (Whitewood)

Production:
- Minimize material waste and material needed for rework
- Establish SOPs to ensure smooth operational flow
- Drive process improvement initiatives, identifying bottle necks and implement new procedures to increase throughput
- Manage data input into ERP system
- Meet production targets and ensure that due dates are met, and product meets company specifications
- Improve quality management system.
- Minimize machine down time
- Ensure data and reports are accurately managed (WIP, output, downtime, yield, etc.)
- Manage material usage and evaluate processes which would maximize the life of material
- Thoroughly understand the capacities of all machines and how to maintain long operating life
Planning:
- Effectively manage worker’s time schedule, minimizing overtime
- Control Work in process
- Work closely with the planning department to ensure resources are allocated properly and product is delivered by due date
- Manage production planning to ensure on time delivery
Productivity and New Process/Product Development:
- Introduce new processes which achieve increase output and efficiency
- Collaborate with R&D to develop new products for market
- Identify opportunities to increase productivity
Effective Worker Management:
- Ensure employees are properly trained and prepared for each position
- Train employees on technical and procedural knowledge so that all employees develop the same habits of operation.
- Increase worker productivity
- Introduce incentive programs for increased output

Computer Skill: Office software
Related Knowledge: Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience
Education: Bachelor
Foreign Language: English
Related Skills: The candidate must have good experience in furniture production management, with excellent 5S, Safety, Quality control skills, Kaizen. Show a high level of competence towards driving labour, and be willing to take full responsibility for the daily output of the whole plant.
