Project Manager Scrum Master exp

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and facilitate daily stand- ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews to ensure the team stays on track and adheres to Scrum processes.
Provide status reports to the leadership team, including the Japan- based stakeholders, highlighting sprint progress, challenges, and solutions.
Lead the team in sprint planning meetings, helping to define sprint goals, and ensuring tasks are well defined and achievable within the sprint.
Monitors and enforces quality standards across the product lifecycle.
Help the Product Owner prioritize the product backlog and ensure that the team has a clear understanding of requirements, goals, and scope.
Coordinate sprint releases, ensuring that all tasks are completed according to the agreed timeline and aligned with the global product roadmap.
Provides timely technical solutions and communicates them clearly to the Product Owner to support informed decision- making during meetings.
Identify and address any roadblocks preventing the team from achieving sprint goals and removing impediments that affect productivity.
Provide ongoing guidance and coaching to team members on Scrum principles, practices, and agile methodologies, ensuring continuous improvement.
Ensure that the Scrum process is being followed, removing any impediments, and providing support for the team’s adherence.
Work closely with development teams and other stakeholders, especially the Japan- based teams, to align product goals and deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) is preferred.
Proficient communication and comprehension skills in English.
At least 3 years of experience in Scrum Master/ Project Manager in the software industry.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently using project management tools.
Demonstrates strong knowledge of system design principles.
Strong problem- solving abilities, critical thinking, and keen attention to detail.
Knowledge and practical experience as a Scrum Master are required, including facilitating agile ceremonies, managing sprint planning, and supporting agile team productivity.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate and lead within cross- functional teams.
Good logical and analytical thinking skills.
Familiarity with software development languages, frameworks, and methodologies.
Prior experience in the finance domain is a plus.
