Purchasing Section Manager (Electronics)

Our client is a foreign- invested company, now looking for Purchasing Section Manager (Electronics, $1000, ID 19635)

Establish, evaluate, and maintain relationships with domestic and international suppliers to secure quality and stability of supply sources.
Supervise customs clearance processes, ensuring adherence to both Vietnamese and international trade regulations.
Lead negotiations for international purchasing contracts, focusing on pricing, product quality, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
Manage and oversee all operations of the Procurement & Import- Export Department, ensuring the effective execution of purchasing and import- export plans.
Coordinate with cross- functional departments such as Finance, Warehouse, and Production to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Develop and implement procurement strategies for raw materials and equipment, guaranteeing timely supply, cost control, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Build and develop the department’s workforce, providing training and guidance to enhance employees’ professional competencies.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Board of Directors.
Collect and analyze market intelligence, including price trends and international trade policies, to support strategic decision- making by senior management.

Gender: Male or Female, under 45 years of age.
Technical Skills: Proficient in ERP systems and office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, International Trade, Economics, or related disciplines.
Languages: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Chinese is considered an advantage.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in procurement within electronics or electronic component manufacturing companies, including at least 2 years in a managerial role (Deputy/Head of Department or equivalent).
Expertise: Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier evaluation standards.
