Job Summary
The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, experience in manufacturing procurement, and the ability to coordinate effectively with production, quality, and logistics teams.
We are seeking a detail- oriented and proactive Purchasing Staff member to support procurement operations in our cookware and flatware manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for sourcing maintenance supplies, spare parts, consumables and sub- materials, managing supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery, and supporting cost and quality control in the purchasing process
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Order Management
Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) based on production and inventory requirements.
Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery to meet manufacturing schedules.
Purchase maintenance supplies, spare parts, consumables and sub- materials.
Supplier Management
Request quotations, negotiating pricing, lead times, and payment terms.
Support supplier performance reviews in terms of cost, quality, and delivery reliability.
Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
Inventory & Production Coordination
Coordinate closely with production planning to forecast purchasing needs.
Work with warehouse teams to confirm incoming material receipts.
Monitor stock levels and prevent shortages or overstock situations.
Cost Control & Documentation
Ensure compliance with internal purchasing policies and audit requirements.
Support cost reduction initiatives through sourcing alternatives and negotiation.
Maintain accurate purchasing records, contracts, and supplier documentation.
Quality & Compliance Support
Assist in resolving supplier- related issues such as defects, delays, or non- conformance.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure materials meet required specifications.

Required Qualifications
Familiarity with cookware, flatware, stainless steel, or consumer goods production is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related field (preferred).
Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier sourcing, and logistics flow.
3- 5 years of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
Skills & Competencies
Problem- solving mindset and teamwork- oriented attitude.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
High attention to detail and strong organizational ability.
Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines in a fast- paced factory environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to communicate in English (and/or other languages) for international supplier coordination.
Experience of sourcing and purchasing procedures.
