Quality Manager

Working location: AkzoNobel Vietnam- Nhon Trach 1 Industrial Zone (Daily shuttle bus services from HCMC).
Products: Powder Coatings
Key Responsibilities:

Manage customer complaints and drive process changes.
Lead process improvements, standardization, and documentation across functions.
Define and implement business and operational requirements.
Monitor, report, and improve process and quality performance.

Quality & HSF Management:

Oversee QMS and HSF systems, ensuring processes meet internal, customer, and certification requirements.
Promote awareness of customer and HSF requirements across the organization.
Serve as Quality & HSF Management Representative, maintaining ISO and regulatory compliance.
Liaise with external parties on quality and HSF matters.

Quality Control:

Analyze data, prepare QC reports, and drive “Right First Time” improvements.
Manage the QC department, ensuring finished goods and raw materials meet specifications.
Oversee lab operations, equipment calibration, and team resourcing.

Other Duties:

Ensure compliance with HSE policies and uphold safety standards.
Coordinate and support external and supplier audits.
Plan and conduct internal audits and management reviews.
Identify training needs and drive continual improvement initiatives.
Lead corrective actions and cross- functional control plans.

Excellent communication skills and fluent in English.
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
At least 8 years’ experience in Quality and HSF Management, with 2+ years in a similar role.
Proven leadership, team management, and problem- solving skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience in chemical manufacturing preferred.
Strong knowledge of ISO9001; Lead Auditor certification is a plus.
