R&D_Hardware Development Engineer (PCB Design)

Collaboration in an international team.
Definition of specifications, creation of creative solution concepts using latest technologies.
Development according the customer requirements and according to standards (state of the art).
Definition of design verification concepts and risk analysis.
Development of firmware in C++ / C and other programming languages.
Sub- project management.
Project controlling (cost, timeline).
Enthusiasm in helping to build- up a new design team in our plant together with an existing Swiss team.
Support in calculation of customer development projects.
Responsible for development of software for customers (on a contract basis).
Communication with the customer.
Documentation for all phases of projects (requirements, design specifications, verification, etc.).
Initial operation and verification of the products and firmware.
Other duties as assigned by manager.
Comprehensive software knowledge in different fields (firmware, bootloader, driver).
Analysis of customer requirements and consulting.
Development of firmware in collaboration with the SW team and HW team.

Specialization in one specific software topic (Embedded, Linux, Real- time OS, HMIs…).
ISO 13485 is a plus.
Engineering degree in electronics or informatics [BSc,MSc].
Knowledge of product development processes.
Knowledge of electronics measuring and test equipment.
(Basic) experience in electronics.
Know- ledge of industries (Industry, Medical).
IEC 62304 is a plus.
Experience in SW development (min 3 years) in the medical or industrial field.
