POSITION OVERVIEW
The Recreation Manager is responsible for overseeing all recreational facilities and activities within the resort, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of safety, service, and operational efficiency.
This role leads the recreation team, manages programs and activities, and drives guest engagement aligned with brand standards and the Heartist culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations Management
Oversee daily operations of all recreational facilities (fitness center, kids club, rope park, etc.)
Monitor service quality and continuously improve guest experience
Ensure all areas are well- maintained, clean, and compliant with safety regulations
Develop and implement recreational programs and activities for all guest segments
Guest Experience & Engagement
Promote recreation activities to maximize participation and revenue opportunities
Handle guest complaints professionally and efficiently
Create innovative and engaging activity programs to enhance guest satisfaction
Interact with guests regularly to obtain feedback and ensure service excellence
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, train, and motivate the recreation team to deliver outstanding service
Conduct regular training sessions on safety, service standards, and product knowledge
Foster a positive and collaborative working environment
Manage scheduling, performance evaluation, and team productivity
Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure all team members are trained in first aid and emergency procedures
Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, especially in pool and water activities
Maintain compliance with local regulations and Accor operational standards
Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments
Financial & Administrative Management
Manage departmental budget and control costs effectively
Monitor inventory, equipment maintenance, and procurement
Identify opportunities to increase revenue through recreational offerings
Prepare reports on guest feedback, attendance, and revenue performance
Brand Standards & Innovation
Collaborate with other departments (F&B, Sales, Marketing...) to enhance guest experiences
Continuously benchmark trends in hospitality recreation and implement new ideas
Ensure all activities align with Mövenpick brand standards and Accor guidelines
Yêu cầu công việc
Strong leadership and team management skills
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Sports & Recreation, or related field
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in recreation or leisure management, preferably in a resort environment
Excellent communication and guest service skills
Good command of English (additional languages are an advantage)
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
