The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) – Ethical Division
is responsible for driving sales growth and market expansion across the assigned region in Vietnam for all Non- Oncology Products including focus therapies with
Cardio- Diabetic, Critical Care, and Virology portfolios.
The role focuses on:
• Building strong penetration in private hospitals and polyclinics
• Maximizing product presence in all public hospitals
• Strengthening hospital tender participation and execution
• Manage well CRM, SFE implementation
The RSM will ensure achievement of regional quantitate and qualitative targets, team performance excellence, and sustainable business growth through strategic hospital engagement.
This role plays a critical role in shaping the company’s long- term pharmacy channel strategy and driving sustainable growth in Vietnam
Key Responsibilities
Hospital Tender & Institutional Business Management (Major Focus)
• Run listing with fully territory coverage and maximize tender quota with KAM as direct subordinate
• Monitor tender results and ensure smooth execution of awarded contracts.
• Work closely with distributors to ensure supply chain readiness for tender products.
• Coordinate tender documentation, pricing strategy, and submission timelines inline with Tender manager
• Lead regional strategy for hospital tender participation (public and private hospitals).
Private Hospital & Polyclinic Development
• Drive product penetration in private hospitals and polyclinics
• Identify new outlets and expand institutional coverage.
• Build strong relationships with hospital directors, procurement teams, department heads, and key specialists.
Sales & Marketing Achievement
• Monitor monthly performance and implement corrective action plans.
• Organize and monitor all marketing activities according to action plan & strategy designed by marketing team
• Achieve regional sales and develop regional business plans aligned with national & Regional strategy.
• Ensure optimal territory coverage and call planning inline to SFE management
Team Leadership & Development
• Coach and manage a team internally and supports for better performance
• Drive high- performance culture and accountability.
• Manage 3 Teams of North, South and Mekong lead by Area Sales Managers
• Develop succession planning and talent development within the team.
• Conduct field visits and business reviews.
Strategic Planning & Market Analysis
• Support new product launches and lifecycle management strategies.
• Analyze sales data, hospital purchasing patterns, and competitor movements.
• Identify new growth opportunities within focus Cardio- Diabetic, Critical Care, and Virology segments.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and regional business insights.
Cross- Functional Collaboration
• Align pricing strategy with national and tender policies.
• Support medical education and hospital scientific programs where required.
• Ensure compliance with Vietnam pharmaceutical regulations.
• Work closely with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams.
Compliance & Governance
• Ensure all activities follow company SOPs and Vietnam MOH regulations.
• Maintain ethical promotion standards in the ethical (ETC) market.
• Report to Country Manager (direct) and Business Unit Head (dotted)
