Job Summary
The Electrical Safety Testing Laboratory Manager
is responsible for managing and overseeing the day- to- day operations of the laboratory to ensure that all testing processes are in compliance with relevant standards and regulations. This position requires in- depth technical knowledge, management skills, and excellent communication skills to ensure efficient laboratory operations and customer satisfaction.
Job Description
Laboratory Management:
Manage laboratory budget, control costs and optimize resource allocation.
Develop and implement laboratory management systems and operational procedures to ensure standardization and accuracy of the testing process.
Oversee the day- to- day operations of the laboratory to ensure proper functioning of test equipment and facilities.
Testing:
Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide professional technical support and solutions.
Supervise the testing process and review the test reports to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data.
Responsible for safety testing of electrical and electronic products to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g. IEC, UL, EN, etc.).
Team Management:
Motivate team members and promote teamwork to improve work efficiency and quality.
Lead and manage the lab team, responsible for personnel training and performance evaluation.
Solve internal team problems and maintain a good working atmosphere.
Quality Control and Improvement:
Conduct regular reviews and improvements to enhance the laboratory&039;s testing capabilities and service quality.
Handle customer complaints and feedback to continuously improve service quality.
Oversee the implementation of the laboratory quality management system to ensure compliance with quality standards such as ISO/IEC 17025.
