Sales Engineer – R&D and Engineering Services

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
Prepare and present technical- commercial proposals, quotations, and project offers in collaboration with engineering teams.
Support contract negotiation and ensure successful project handover to execution teams.
Actively promote Cicor Vietnam’s engineering competencies to existing and potential customers in Asia and Europe.
Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in R&D and engineering services, especially in hardware design, embedded software, testing, and product industrialization in Vietnam.
Customer Relationship Management
Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and professional service.
Build and maintain strong long- term relationships with key customers, R&D partners, and decision- makers.
Understand customer needs and translate them into technical requirements and project scopes.
Internal Collaboration
Contribute to strategic planning and marketing initiatives for Cicor Vietnam’s engineering business in Vietnam.
Work closely with R&D, Testing, and Manufacturing teams to align customer requirements with internal capabilities.
Collaborate with Global Sales and Key Account Managers in Europe and Asia for joint opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills
Education & Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or project management in the EMS, R&D services, or electronics industry.
Proven track record of selling technical solutions or engineering services.
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
Technical Competencies
Knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFT (Design for Testing) principles is an advantage.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation.
Strong understanding of electronics design, embedded systems, testing, and product industrialization.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Vietnamese (German is a plus).
Proactive, customer- oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and in a global team.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem- solving skills.
