Sales Manager – Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Train, coach, and support sales staff to enhance their skills and work efficiency.
• Manage and grow the existing customer base while actively seeking and expanding potential customer sources (MICE, Corporate, Leisure, OTA, etc.).
• Ensure service quality meets hotel standards, contributing to maintaining and enhancing the hotel’s brand image.
• Provide regular reports to the General Manager on sales performance, market updates, and recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and implement sales plans to achieve and exceed assigned revenue targets.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to propose effective competitive strategies.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients, travel agencies, and corporate partners.
• Collaborate closely with relevant departments (Marketing, Front Office, F&B, etc.) to develop packages, promotions, and special offers.
• Conduct presentations, prepare quotations, negotiate, and sign contracts with clients, ensuring the best interest of the hotel.
• Set sales targets for the sales team, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with the hotel’s business strategy.
Yêu cầu công việc
Minimum 3- 5 years of sales management experience in the hospitality industry, preferably with international 5- star hotel brands.
Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing); knowledge of additional languages such as Chinese, Korean, or Japanese is a plus.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strong ability to build and maintain long- term relationships with key clients.
Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with brand positioning and hotel revenue targets.
In- depth knowledge of the travel, hospitality, and corporate markets, especially in high- end segments (MICE, Corporate, Leisure, OTA, etc.).
Proficient in CRM systems and sales management software, with a data- driven approach to monitoring performance and productivity.
Self- motivated, proactive, and able to work under high pressure, with flexibility in working hours and willingness to travel as required.
Strong leadership and team management skills, including recruitment, training, and staff development.
