Sales Manager/ Senior Sales Manager (Corporate & MICE)

What you will be doing:
The Sales Manager MICE will report to the Director of Sales & Marketing and will join our in- house sales team, which is in charge of converting incoming group leads in order to achieve our targets in the group segment. This role is a possible gateway to your next career steps as we are looking for a talented and motivated team member, with the drive to deliver results for future developments.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Represent Mai House&039;s values and service commitments.
• Follow up regularly to ensure the highest possible conversion rates.
• Make sales calls and telesales to potential clients.
• Entertain (when group request is involved).
• Provide professional, engaging and friendly service at all times.
• Conduct on- site inspections to showcase the property.
• Determine group rates based on evaluation with the support of DOSM and send proposals/contracts.
• Update the lead status for all meetings and reports as required.
• Handle negotiations to ensure maximum revenue income.
• Evaluate and conduct group requests.
• Prepare monthly production reports.

Fluent communication in English, both verbal and written.
Diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
1- 2 years of working experience in the same position at Hotels/ Resorts.
Hardworking, eager to learn and proactive in work.
Proficient Management skills.
