The Product Developer is responsible for managing the development process of garments, from initial design concepts to production- ready samples, ensuring that designs are feasible, and meet quality standards.

WHAT WILL YOU INVOLVE

Review design ideas to ensure they can be made and are practical for production.
Work with designers, technical teams, and suppliers to create product samples and fix sample- making issues
Work with the purchasing team to source fabrics, trims, and other materials that match the design and cost requirements.
Collaborate with the R&D team to collect design requirements, such as materials, style, colors, and specifications.
Plan and track the development process
Research new materials, trends, and technologies to improve future products.
Review samples to ensure they meet the design and quality standards.

WHAT WE NEED YOU HAVE

Meticulous, detail- oriented.
Experienced in product development, sample merchandising, sample development or similar role in the garment/ textile/footwear industry.
Good knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and production process.
Good command in English.
Ability to communicate and convey information clearly and effectively.
Organizational skills, progress monitoring, and time management.
