SAP MM Consultant

Receive knowledge transfer from the incumbent vendor, verify existing project documents, and create/update manuals when required.
Provide support primarily during standard 8×5 working hours. (Overtime may be required for major changes, releases, or urgent customer issues.)
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Quickly understand customer business processes and IT landscape, and proactively identify potential issues or challenges.
Analyze and resolve tickets/changes related to SAP MM, including customizing updates and configuration fixes.
Work closely and effectively with customer business teams and project teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strong English communication skills for direct interaction with customers.
Solid hands‑on knowledge in SAP MM, including configuration, master data, P2P processes, pricing, procurement, inventory management, and integration points.
Able to interact with customers, perform initial ticket review, provide first- level responses, and independently close common requests.
Ensure all tickets are properly structured; add missing information provided by requestors.
Keep ticket updates accurate and timely.
Maintain regular communication with onsite/offshore Consultants to ensure timely delivery and remove impediments.
Work with business users to refine requirements; communicate effectively with business teams, consultants, and key stakeholders (e.g., Christine & Carsten).
Provide daily management updates to Christine and Carsten as required.
Facilitate collaboration between Nearshore and Offshore teams to ensure smooth coordination.
Willing to provide support during German working hours when needed.

Required Skills

Proficient in SAP systems, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP HANA Database, and SAP Fiori.
Experience working with Cloud Platforms such as Azure and AWS.
Skilled in kernel upgrades, SPS updates, SUM operations, and system copies.
Committed to knowledge sharing and collaboration with team members.
Experienced in SAP monitoring, operating system fundamentals, and troubleshooting.
Experience with SAP PCE is an advantage.
Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform, SAP BTP, Cloud Connector, and Web Dispatcher.
2 to 4+ years of experience in SAP Basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Japanese N3–N4 preferred
SAP certification preferred.
TOEIC 750+ preferred
