Scheduler

PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
Spartronics Viet Nam is seeking a Scheduler who is Own short- term production scheduling and execution control to meet OTD/OTR (on- time delivery), maximize schedule adherence, and support stable manpower planning by translating the Master Production Schedule (MPS) into daily/weekly build priorities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build Schedule Creation & Control
- Convert MPS and customer due dates into a weekly and daily schedule by work center (SMT, Wave, Assembly Box Build, Test, Pack/Ship,….).
- Sequence WOs/jobs to optimize line efficiency, changeovers, and shared- resource constraints.
- Release production orders per the frozen plan and agreed priorities; manage controlled changes through change- log.
Execution Monitoring (Plan vs Actual)
- Run daily “control tower” actions: identify misses early and coordinate recovery with Production.
- Track daily execution vs schedule (output, WIP movement, bottlenecks).
- Maintain schedule adherence KPI and lead corrective actions when performance deviates.
Constraint & Shortage Management
- Monitor material constraints affecting execution (critical shortages, kitting readiness, late supplier receipts).
- Coordinate with Material Planner to prevent future shortages using:
+ Consumption trends
+ Over Issue
+ WIP aging signals
+ Loss Over Issue
+ Scrap/yield impact
- Trigger escalation for line- stop risks and track closure.
Recovery Planning
- Create and maintain recovery plans for:
+ quality holds / rework impacts
+ past- due orders
+ capacity shortfalls
- Propose options (resequence, overtime, split lots, alternate routing) and coordinate approvals.
Cross- Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Warehouse on kitting/issue timing and with QA on disposition holds impacting schedule.
- Provide Material Planner with delivery risk signals and revised commit recommendations (through Master Planner, as per RACI).
- Partner daily with Production leads to align manpower and line readiness to the schedule.
System & Data Discipline (D365 / MES/Aegis)
- Ensure production order status is accurate (released, started, reported, closed) and WIP data is timely.
- Maintain schedule and execution logs in D365 and/or MES (Aegis); support reporting and audits.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Electronics Manufacturing, or related field.
Experience:
- From 5+ years in scheduling/production control in manufacturing (high complex- mix volume preferred).
- Strong understanding of production flows
Others:
- Data- driven, able to build recovery scenarios and prioritize under constraints
- Working knowledge of ERP/MES (D365, Aegis or similar)
- Strong communication and escalation discipline; comfortable leading daily execution reviews
