Scrum Master

Job Summary
The Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating Agile/Scrum practices and ensuring the team follows Scrum principles and values. This role acts as a servant leader, removing impediments, enabling continuous improvement, and helping teams deliver high- quality products efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Remove impediments and blockers that impact team progress
Coach the team on Agile and Scrum best practices
Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and stakeholders across the organization
Protect the team from distractions and external interruptions
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and self- organization
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand- ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives)
Promote Agile values and mindset within the team and organization
Ensure transparency through Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, etc.)
Support the Product Owner with backlog refinement and prioritization

Required Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Scrum framework and Agile methodologies
Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict- resolution skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Familiarity with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
Experience working with cross- functional development teams
2–6 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile role

Preferred Qualifications

Coaching or mentoring experience
Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I/II, SAFe SM)
Experience in scaled Agile environments (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus)
Background in software development or QA
