Seaonics Mechanical Engineer

Identify and document any deviations or non- conformities and initiate corrective actions.
Ensure proper installation, alignment, and operation of mechanical equipment according to drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
Prepare detailed inspection reports including findings, recommendations, and action plans.
Conduct thorough inspections from raw materials to final FAT, including visual checks, dimensional measurements, and functional tests.

Understand geometric tolerance symbols.
Possess strong knowledge of welding, machining, hydraulics, and mechanical assembly processes.
Stay updated on the standards, codes, and regulations.

Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
Work closely with Project Managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure mechanical aspects are aligned with project specifications.

Identify improvement opportunities and propose effective solutions for production and quality control processes.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of standard operating procedures and work instructions.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer.

Education: Bachelor&039;s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Skills & Competencies:
Fluency in written and spoken English and Vietnamese.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail and problem- solving abilities.

Other Requirements:
CSWIP 3.1 or FROSIO/BGAS/NACE certification is an advantage.
Hands- on experience or solid knowledge of marine equipment such as Gangways, LARS (Launch and Recovery Systems), Cranes, and Winches is preferred.
