Senior BIM Engineer (Tekla)

Duties & Responsibilities

Participate in project coordination meetings and provide input on model- related issues.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to integrate structural designs into overall project models.
Develop and maintain BIM models for structural projects using mainly Tekla
Understand clash detection results and amend models accordingly.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
Support the implementation of BIM standards and best practices within the organization.
Assist in the preparation of construction documents, drawings, and schedules.
Continuously update and manage BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
Create detailed 2D and 3D models of structural components, including rebar, precast elements, steel structures, and concrete.

Strong problem- solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Experience in BIM modeling, preferably in structural disciplines including reinforcement concrete structures and steel structures.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in model creation and documentation.
Knowledge of relevant building codes and industry standards.
Strong understanding of structural design principles and construction methods.
Expertise in Tekla. Proficiency in Revit is a big plus.
3- 5 years of experience.
English proficiency in conversation. Good English communication skills.
Bachelor&039;s degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
