Senior Chemical Engineer/Footwear (Taiwanese/Vnese)

Role HighlightsIn this role, you will not only support R&D and production but also act as a critical bridge between customers, factories, and global brands. Through your expertise, you will help translate innovative materials and processes into practical product solutions that influence product quality and consumer experience worldwide.Key Responsibilities 1. Customer Support & Technical Interface • Serve as the technical liaison between customers and factories on chemical development and application matters. • Accurately convey design and functional requirements to development and production teams to ensure alignment with brand standards. 2. Chemical Material Application & Development • Familiar with outsole materials and processes such as RB, IP, PU, PHYLON, EVA, and paint application. • Skilled in chemical formulation, process optimization, and material testing. • Knowledgeable in adhesive, hot melt, TPU, ink printing, and lamination processes. • Experience in understanding and controlling bonding strength, durability, and quality testing methods. 3. Process Support & On- site Implementation • Understand footwear manufacturing processes, including cementing and molding. • Provide technical troubleshooting and process improvement recommendations for new formulations or material introductions. 4. Quality & Compliance • Ensure all materials and processes meet brand chemical and regulatory standards, including RSL compliance. 5. Cross- functional Collaboration • Work closely with internal teams and factories to ensure smooth material integration and production efficiency.
