SENIOR COPYWRITER
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Creative Planning & Execution
- Build integrated creative concepts and content based on creative briefs across multiple platforms and channels.
- Present ideas clearly and persuasively to internal teams.
- Write and develop high- quality ideas in both Vietnamese and English.
- Work closely with the Multimedia Leader to develop ideas across copy and visuals, ensuring verbal and visual elements support one another.
- Monitor campaign performance and participate in pre- test/post- test activities or related research when required.
- Oversee the production of multi- platform advertising assets, ensuring content is executed in line with the approved direction.
- Collaborate with the Account Manager, Multimedia Leader, and relevant teams to communicate campaign messages in a compelling, coherent, and creative way.
- Contribute to the development of content frameworks, IMC frameworks, and implementation directions for related teams such as PR, Social, and other cross- functional units.
- Develop big ideas and creative concepts with clear, cohesive narratives aligned with campaign direction.
Content Planning, Research & Copy Development
- Develop concepts, storyboards, and scripts for various video formats such as explainer videos, promotional videos, interview videos, and campaign videos.
- Develop brand messaging such as key messages, taglines, slogans, value propositions, and other communication assets that help differentiate the brand.
- Optimize content based on actual performance data, including reach, engagement, and other relevant metrics.
- Conduct research on industries, brands, competitors, consumers, and the market to create persuasive and effective content.
- Build and execute content strategies aligned with clients’ brand positioning and marketing objectives.
- Translate technical, technological, or specialized terminology into clear, user- friendly, and benefit- driven content.
- Ideate, write, and optimize content for a wide range of formats, including social content, website copy, digital campaign content, video content, scripts, email marketing, branded content, and other communication materials.
Quality Assurance & Team Management
- Review and assess all verbal aspects of creative output to ensure alignment with the brief, strategy, tone of voice, as well as quality, timeline, and budget requirements.
- Manage production plans, content calendars, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure content is delivered on time.
- Analyze, report, and present campaign performance to leadership or clients when required.
- Guide, mentor, and develop the copy/content team to foster a productive and positive creative environment.
- Ensure copy and layout work together effectively and stay aligned with the agreed strategic direction.
- Work with freelancers, contractors, or third- party partners when needed to support content production.
- Manage project timelines alongside other senior team members, proactively tracking progress and allocating work appropriately.
New Business & Creative Reputation
- Participate in activities that support new business development as assigned by the company.
- Contribute to award submissions and creative recognition initiatives to enhance the company’s reputation and profile.
- Collaborate with the HoC/CD in developing idea proposals and campaign proposals for potential clients when needed.
Other Responsibilities
- Stay updated on marketing and communication trends, products, consumer behavior, competitor activities, emerging technologies, and local culture in order to create relevant, effective, and innovative ideas.
- Perform other duties or projects related to the creative function as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- A collaborative mindset, positive attitude, and a good sense of humor are a plus.
- Proactive in keeping up with new technologies, creative trends, and communication innovations.
- Good project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast- paced, high- pressure environment.
- Be responsible for publishing content across communication channels and monitoring/responding to comments and inbox messages in a timely manner, in line with brand guidelines.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to defend ideas effectively.
- A background in strategic thinking is a plus.
- Proficient in office software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within an advertising agency, communications agency, or creative environment.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and professional, with strong personal ethics.
- Strong conceptual ability, with solid creative thinking and the capability to turn insight into clear and persuasive ideas.
- Ability to understand market insight, analyze content performance data, and provide optimization recommendations.
- Able to work independently with a strong sense of ownership, while also collaborating effectively in a team.
- Creative, adaptable, able to work under pressure, and committed to meeting deadlines.
- Excellent writing skills in both Vietnamese and English.
KPI REFERENCE
- Achieve 100% of production targets on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Ensure 100% on- time delivery for all communication, requests, planning, and reporting tasks.
- Achieve at least 80% of targeted content/campaign performance across metrics such as CTR, lead generation, and other relevant KPIs.
