Senior Data Analyst

Job Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst who is passionate about turning complex O2O data into clear, actionable insights that drive growth for our two- sided marketplace. You will combine strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of data modelling and big data concepts to deliver high- impact insights in a fast- moving environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:

Perform geospatial and time- based analysis to optimize tasker allocation and service coverage across districts and cities.
Analyze and monitor core O2O metrics: booking volume, customer retention, tasker utilization & acceptance rate, completion rate, cancellation reasons, average task value, and online- to- offline service delivery performance.
Work closely with Data Engineers to ensure data models accurately reflect bTaskee’s business logic (customer- tasker- service- time- location) and to define new metrics or dimensions when needed.
Identify data quality issues and collaborate with the engineering team to improve data accuracy and completeness.
Present findings and actionable recommendations clearly to both technical and non- technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
Build and maintain insightful dashboards and automated reports (Looker, Tableau, or Metabase) for leadership and cross- functional teams.
Conduct deep- dive analyses on key business topics such as demand forecasting by service type and city, tasker supply- demand balancing, pricing & incentive optimization, customer acquisition & churn, and service quality.
Support A/B tests and experimentation for new features (e.g., smart matching, subscription plans, or service bundling).

Qualifications and Skills:
Must have

Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field;
Working familiarity with big data concepts and tools- experience querying data warehouses/lakes (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift), basic PySpark or Spark SQL, and understanding of partitioned tables, streaming data (Kafka), and ETL concepts;
Working knowledge of data modeling- understanding of dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake schema), fact and dimension tables, and how data is structured for analysis;
Minimum 4 years of hands- on experience as a Data Analyst;
Strong proficiency with BI and visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent);
Strong problem- solving skills, product mindset, and ability to make pragmatic technical decisions under time pressure.
Advanced SQL- writing complex, optimized queries on very large datasets;
Python (pandas, numpy) for advanced analysis and automation;

Nice to have

Experience with dbt (data build tool) for analytics modeling;
Understanding of O2O business dynamics: user- merchant matching, logistics & routing, real- time supply- demand, geospatial analytics, and multi- sided marketplace metrics.
