Senior Data Decision Scientist (Techcom Life)

Job Purpose:
• Solving business problems with insights: Apply analytical thinking to uncover patterns, trends, and root causes that drive business performance and customer value.
• Empowering self- service analytics: Build intuitive dashboards and manage scalable data models that help teams access and explore data independently.
• Scaling intelligence with ML & AI: Leverage machine learning and AI to address unknown- unknowns, automate decision- making, and unlock new opportunities at scale.
Key Accountabilities:
Data Analytics & Visualization
• Design and maintain scalable data models and dashboards that empower business users to explore data and make informed decisions independently.
• Develop visualizations and reports that support data storytelling and enhance understanding of business- critical metrics.
• Analyze complex datasets using scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python) to uncover trends, patterns, and performance drivers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define analytical needs and translate them into actionable data solutions.
Insight Generation & Business Problem Solving
• Partner with cross- functional teams to frame business questions and deliver data- driven answers.
• Lead deep- dive analyses to identify root causes, business opportunities, and performance gaps.
• Build and maintain statistical models for ongoing and ad hoc analysis to support performance management and business planning.
• Translate data into meaningful insights that inform strategic decisions and improve customer value and operational efficiency.
Scalable Intelligence with ML & AI
• Apply machine learning and AI techniques to solve complex, ambiguous problems—especially those involving unknown- unknowns.
• Evaluate and integrate new data sources and technologies to enhance model accuracy and relevance.
• Develop and monitor models that automate decision- making and unlock new business capabilities.
