POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Developer will be part of a technical support and delivery team, responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of the Student Administration Management System (SAMS) and its integrating satellite applications, such as timetabling and e- learning systems. The responsibilities also include developing and maintaining data integrations and reporting functions.
Working within a complex, multicultural environment, the incumbent will collaborate with specialists across Vietnam and Australia, in a pragmatic outcomes- oriented manner. They are expected to facilitate communication, solve complex technical challenges, and contribute to coding standards and best practices.
Based on Oracle Campus Solutions, SAMS is utilised by RMIT staff and students globally. The incumbent is expected to rapidly gain expertise in the Campus Solutions platform, Peoplecode scripting, the SAMS data model, and RMIT&039;s customisations.
Key Accountabilities Summary
Develop and improve SAMS reports using PSQueries and/or App Engines and SQL, while mastering the SAMS data model and RMIT- specific customisations.
Collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to understand business needs, contribute to user stories, and review architectural and feature designs.
Manage and support data integrations using SAMS App Engines, Managed File Transfer, and Mulesoft APIs, ensuring system interoperability.
Enhance and create new functionalities for the Student Administration Management System (SAMS) to meet evolving requirements.
