Senior DevOps Engineer

Design, operate, and continuously improve AWS- based infrastructure for large- scale production systems (EC2, ECS, EKS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, IAM, VPC, etc.)
Ensure system reliability, availability, scalability, and performance across all services.
Build and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting using Datadog and Sentry:
Meaningful alert design with low noise
Support rapid detection and resolution of production issues.
Metrics, logs, traces, and error tracking
Participate in incident response and on- call rotation:
Perform root cause analysis
Troubleshoot production incidents
Write postmortems and drive long- term improvements.
Design, operate, and improve CI/CD pipelines:
Safe and automated deployments
Minimize deployment- related incidents.
Fast rollback and failure recovery
Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
Collaborate closely with Backend and Frontend teams:
Review system designs
Provide guidance on reliability, scalability, security, and performance best practices.
Create and maintain runbooks, operational documentation, and on- call processes.

Must have:

5+ years of experience as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, or Platform Engineer
Strong hands- on experience operating production systems on AWS:
Deep understanding of networking (VPC, subnets, security groups)
Cost optimization experience is a strong plus
IAM and permission models
Solid experience with observability tools:
Sentry or equivalent error tracking tools
Datadog (metrics, logs, APM)
Strong understanding of core SRE concepts:
Error budgets
SLA, SLO, SLI
Incident management and reliability engineering
Experience with containers and orchestration:
ECS and/or Kubernetes (EKS)
Docker
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines:
GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Jenkins, or similar
Proficiency in scripting or programming

Nice to have:

Experience designing high- availability, multi- AZ, and disaster recovery systems
Experience with microservice architectures
