Senior Environmental Health & Safety Specialist

This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS programs to ensure compliance with Vietnam regulations and UL Solutions standards. This role supports continuous improvement in safety culture and environmental performance across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor updates to Vietnam EHS legislation; prepare and submit mandatory reports to authorities (e.g., DONRE, DOLISA).
• Conduct internal EHS inspections, risk assessments, and job hazard analyses; lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Organize EHS training for employees, contractors, and visitors; coordinate emergency drills and response teams.
• Oversee PPE selection and usage; manage occupational health programs and examinations.
• Manage hazardous materials and waste, chemical inventories, and ensure proper labeling and documentation (MSDS).
• Collaborate with Facilities and Laboratory teams to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain EHS programs, SOPs, and emergency response plans in compliance with local laws and company policies.
• Act as EHS representative for audits, government inspections, and cross- site support as needed.
