Senior Event Marketing Freelancer

Role Overview
JDI is looking for a senior event marketing freelancer who can plan and push event campaigns that drive real attendee growth. Focus sits on building strong market awareness, activating the right channels, and using personal networks and media connections to maximize reach.
What You’ll Work On
- Work closely alongside the internal team to align messaging, timeline, and campaign rollout
- Track campaign performance and adjust approach to improve registrations and attendance
- Identify and collaborate with relevant partners, communities, and industry groups to expand reach
- Support on- the- ground coordination with the Marketing team during the event, if needed
- Activate personal network and media relationships to secure coverage, PR mentions, and event visibility
- Support internal teams in building and executing campaign strategy across social, email, partnerships, communities, and media outreach
Requirements
- Project- Based Commitment: Available to work on a per- event or campaign basis while staying closely aligned with the internal team throughout planning and execution.
- Campaign Execution: Solid ability to plan and roll out multi- channel campaigns across social, email, partnerships, and PR.
- Event Marketing Experience: 3 to 5+ years executing event campaigns with proven results in driving registrations and attendance.
- Partnership Development: Experience working with sponsors, communities, and KOLs to expand campaign visibility.
- Network & Media Connections: Strong relationships across media outlets, communities, and industry groups to amplify event reach and secure coverage.
- Audience Growth Mindset: Clear understanding of how to attract, engage, and convert target attendees across different channels.
