Senior Full-Stack Developer

Experienced Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise- scale Quantity Surveying (QS) Management system for the built environment industry. The ideal candidate will have proven experience handling high- volume tabulated data, cost and financial datasets, and complex review/approval workflows, ensuring high performance, usability, and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:

Quality & Performance- Conduct unit/integration testing.- Ensure high performance and security of the application.- Monitor and optimize database queries.
IntegrationIntegrate with BIM systems, document management platforms, ERP, and third- party APIs (payment gateways, vendor systems).
Collaboration- Work closely with product managers, UIUX designers, construction engineers, quantity surveyors and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.- Provide technical support and mentoring to junior developers.
Workflow & Automation- Implement robust review and approval workflows, including multi- level approvals, audit trials, and notifications.- Integrate role- based access control for sensitive cost data.
Data Management- Optimize storage and retrieval of large tabular datasets.- Implement data validation, reconciliation, and reporting for financial and cost- related data.
UI/UX- Build intuitive, data- heavy interfaces with advanced filtering, sorting, and export functions.- Ensure responsive design for web and mobile devices.
System Design & Development- Design, develop, and maintain large- scale quantity surveying management applications tailored to construction workflows.- Build scalable modules for managing tabulated data (cost libraries, quantities, budgets, invoices, etc.).

• 5+ years of full- stack development experience (or strong back- end + front- end combo).
• Proven experience building enterprise business portal systems or built environment industry management systems.
• Strong proficiency in data- driven application development:
  • Handling large, tabulated datasets (e.g. cost libraries, invoices, contracts).
  • Building approval/review workflows.
• Expertise in at least one back- end stack:
  • Java/Spring Boot, .NET Core, Node.js, or Python/Django.
• Strong front- end skills:
  • React, Angular, or Vue.js for building tabulated UI.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database design (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL).
• Experience implementing role- based access control (RBAC), notifications, and auditing.
• Familiarity with BIM, cost benchmarking, cost estimation, or contract management.
• Understanding of API development and integration with third- party systems.
