Senior Network Engineer - Upto 30 Mil - 35 Mil

* Network Design & Implementation:
· Design, configure, and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN).
· Plan and implement network upgrades, migrations, and new network deployments.
· Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
* Network Monitoring & Maintenance:
· Implement and manage network monitoring tools and alerts.
· Perform regular network maintenance, including patching, backups, and firmware upgrades.
· Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot network issues to ensure optimal performance and availability.
* Network Security:
· Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures (e.g., firewall rules, access control lists, VPNs).
· Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
· Monitor network security events, identify potential threats, and respond to security incidents.
* Troubleshooting & Support:
· Document troubleshooting steps and solutions
· Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical problems.
· Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network- related issues to end- users and other IT teams.
* System Administration (as applicable/needed):
· Manage and administer network services such as DNS, DHCP, and NTP.
· Assist with server administration tasks related to network connectivity.
* Vendor Management:
· Work with third- party vendors for network equipment, services, and support.
· Evaluate new technologies and solutions to improve network infrastructure.
* Continuous Improvement:
· Stay up- to- date with the latest networking technologies, trends, and best practices.
· Proactively identify opportunities for network optimization and efficiency improvements.
* Contribute to the development and improvement of IT policies and procedures

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, OSI model, routing protocols- BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
· Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix).
· Experience with configuring and managing enterprise- grade network hardware (e.g., Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, Fortinet).
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
· Strong troubleshooting and problem- solving skills.
· Bachelor&039;s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
· 5 years of proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role.
· Proficiency in administering firewalls and VPN technologies.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
