Senior PHP Developer

We are looking for Backend Developers to join a large- scale international project in the Geriatrics sector. This isn&039;t just a maintenance role—it’s a mission to unify and stabilize a global software system managing nursing homes across multiple countries.
Key Responsibilities
You will be the "architects" of a critical transition:
Consolidate: Merge two distinct legacy PHP codebases into one unified, high- performance system.
Transform: Pave the technical roadmap for PHP 8, PostgreSQL migration, and Cloud infrastructure adoption.
Refactor: Harmonize complex business logic and optimize SQL interactions.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Deep understanding of SQL Server, stored procedures, and query optimization.
Your work directly affects operations, patient data, and reporting in the healthcare sector.
Proven track record working with custom architectures (non- framework) and large- scale codebases.
Advanced Git skills (complex merging & conflict resolution).
Work in a professional environment aligned with Australia (AEST).
4+ years of commercial PHP (Solid OOP) & strong experience with C.
Lead the transition from PHP 7 to PHP 8 and SQL Server to PostgreSQL.
S 12- month initial project duration with a long- term vision.
Soft Skills & Languages:
Upper- Intermediate English (Ready for global collaboration).
