Senior/Principal Frontend Engineer ReactJS/AI

We are looking for a frontend engineer to lead the development of our AI Agent platform/application from the ground up. The ideal candidate has experience building complex web applications, crafting intuitive user experiences, and collaborating effectively with cross- functional teams.
Mentor and support the growth of team members by helping them deepen their frontend expertise and best practices
Collaborate with design and product teams to translate user needs and business goals into elegant, scalable interfaces
Introduce tools, frameworks, and development practices to improve frontend engineering efficiency and maintainability
Design and implement complex UIs that interact seamlessly with backend APIs, real- time agent outputs, and developer toolchains
Take technical leadership across a cross- functional team—including frontend, backend, AI, and SRE engineers—and drive the overall development process
ResponsibilitiesLead frontend development of the AI Agent platform or application from scratch, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and usability

Must have
Technical

3+ years of experience with React.js and TypeScript
5+ years of experience in web development
Solid understanding of:
Browser rendering behavior and accessibility best practices
Component- based UI development and performance optimization
Modern frontend architecture and state management (e.g., Redux, Context API)
Frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha or Jest)
Experience with:
Next.js and Webpack
Docker and containerized development environments
Git- based development workflows
Monitoring and debugging with tools like Datadog, Rollbar
Agile development processes
Operating and maintaining frontend applications in production environments

Nice to have

Experience with:
MySQL or basic relational database understanding
Integration with AI APIs (e.g., LLM- based outputs)
Reading or navigating Python (FastAPI) backend code
Practical knowledge in:
Collaborating with backend engineers on API design and integration
Performance profiling and web vitals monitoring
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipeline automation
B2B SaaS product development, especially for back office domains

Communication

Business- level English (reading & writing)
Experience mentoring or educating team members
Strong sense of ownership and accountability
Experience leading a project as a team lead (required for Leader position)
