JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Producer at RICE is a strategic "conductor" who bridges the gap between creative vision and operational excellence. This role requires a unique blend of business acumen, leadership, and high- end production expertise. You will be responsible for bringing in new business, mentoring a high- performing team, and ensuring every frame produced meets RICE’s signature aesthetic while maintaining peak operational efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development & Client Servicing

Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary strategic partner for clients, managing expectations and ensuring long- term satisfaction through exceptional service.
Lead Generation: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities and leads to expand RICE’s client portfolio.
Proposal & Pitching: Lead the development of production proposals and pitches, ensuring they are commercially viable and creatively ambitious.

End- to- End Production Management

Quality Control: Final accountability for the technical and artistic quality of all deliverables.
Project Oversight: Supervise the full production lifecycle from creative brief/pre- production through to delivery, ensuring the work is consistent throughout.
Financial Stewardship: Develop detailed budgets, negotiate with vendors/freelancers, and manage project P&L to ensure maximum profitability.

Leadership & Team Development

Mentorship & Training: Responsible for the onboarding and continuous professional development of new and junior producers.
Supervision & Monitoring: Closely monitor team performance, providing regular feedback to ensure the team grows in both skill and confidence.

Operational Excellence

Efficiency & Productivity: Monitor and optimize the productivity of the producer team, ensuring resources are utilized effectively and all deadlines are met without compromising quality.
Systems Compliance: Enforce and improve company processes and management systems (e.g., project management tools, filing systems, workflows).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Process- Oriented: A disciplined approach to following and enforcing company systems and workflows.
Leadership: Strong track record in managing crews and mentoring internal teams.
Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to generate leads and manage high- level client relationships.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
Aesthetic Sense: A sharp eye for cinematography and storytelling that aligns with the RICE and clients’ brand.
Production Expertise: Mastery of production workflows, including deep knowledge of camera systems, lighting, and post- production (VFX, Color Grading, Sound Design).
Experience: 5–8 years of experience in content production (Agency or Production House). A strong portfolio featuring high- end TVCs or iTVCs, digital content, and documentaries is mandatory.
