Shopping Mall Leasing and Planning Officer

We are seeking 02 Senior Leasing Officers for our upcoming retail projects across Vietnam.
Working Location: Diamond Plaza Saigon, Quan 1, HCMC
Position Overview: The Mall Senior Leasing Officer will support the planning and execution of leasing strategies for new retail development projects across Vietnam. This role involves conceptualizing retail layouts and tenant mixes, conducting market research, engaging with potential tenants, and providing administrative support to the leasing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning & Strategy
- Contribute to defining tenancy mix strategies to ensure optimal brand categories and shopper experience.
- Assist in developing store concepts, target customer profiles, and floor plans for new mall projects.
- Support the design and zoning of specialized retail areas and differentiation strategies to position the mall competitively.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis
- Prepare benchmarking materials to support decision- making for leasing and project direction.
- Provide regular reports on market insights, new content ideas, and competitor activities.
- Research retail trends, consumer behavior, and mall concepts locally and internationally.
Tenant Engagement & Relationship Building
- Identify and establish early connections with potential tenants for new retail developments.
Administrative & Team Support
- Other ad- hoc tasks assigned by the HOD.
- Assist with various administrative tasks related to the team.

(Preferred) Professional background or strong familiarity with the F&B industry
Proven ability to plan and set up store concepts, tenant positioning, floor plans, tenancy mix, and differentiation strategies based on market research
Knowledge of the shopping mall business model, including profit structure and tenant leasing process
(Preferred) Basic proficiency in AutoCAD or similar layout/design tools
(Preferred) Understanding of architectural drawings and mall facilities
Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in effectively managing teams
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with tenants and partners
Minimum 3 years of experience in the leasing department of major shopping malls in Hanoi (e.g., AEON, Vincom, etc.)
(Preferred) Experience in opening new retail projects, from concept planning to leasing execution
Strong understanding of the Vietnam retail market and consumer trends
