Social Media Video Specialist - Female Applicants Preferred, Proficient English Skills Required

ABOUT THE ROLE
ALT Brands Co. Ltd – the in- house creative and marketing team behind global content creator Tina Yong – is looking for a talented and motivated Video Editor to join our team. You’ll work closely with Tina and our creative lead to turn ideas, scripts, and raw footage into engaging visual stories across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
This role is perfect for editors who loves working closely with creators, storytelling, social media, and creating content that people genuinely want to watch.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Editing

Edit YouTube long- form videos (beauty, lifestyle, travel, food & reviews)
Edit short- form videos (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) with strong pacing and creative flair
Cut, assemble, and elevate footage with storytelling, music, sound design, and color grade
Create versions and cutdowns for different platforms

Creative Collaboration

Work directly with Tina during review sessions
Take feedback constructively and refine edits quickly
Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative planning
Support the team in shaping the visual and narrative direction of each project

Production Support

Occasionally assist with filming (camera, lighting, audio)
Organise footage, maintain file systems, and manage project assets

Quality & Performance

Ensure all content meets brand quality standards
Understand platform trends to make content feel current and engaging
Deliver edits on time while maintaining high quality

REQUIREMENTS:Technical Skills
(FOR THE APPLICATION TO BE CONSIDERED PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR ENTRY AND CV IN ENGLISH)

Fluent in English (Spoken and Written)
Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro and Capcut. (experience with After Effects, Photoshop and is a bonus)
Understand cameras, lighting, and sound equipment.
Organize files efficiently for smooth workflows.
Mix and balance sound for clarity and impact.
Adjust and enhance footage colors where needed.

Creative & Storytelling Skills

Visual Storytelling: Convey narrative through sequence, pacing, and composition.
Rhythm & Timing: Cut to the music, dialogue, and actor&039;s performance.
Composition & Framing: Apply principles of shot composition, angles, and focus.
Creativity: Develop unique visual approaches and ideas.

Workplace Skills

Self- motivated, organised, and reliable
Can take feedback, handle criticism professionally and iterate quickly
Comfortable with fast- paced changing environments
Attention to detail with a keen aesthetic eye

Nice- to- Have

Personally interested in beauty, lifestyle, motherhood, food, and creator- led content
Experience using other filming gear (DJI / Rode / Godox etc.)
Understanding social media analytics and content optimization
Experience using mirrorless cameras (Canon / Sony)
Can create simple animations and captions
Prior experience editing for other Beauty / Lifestyle content creators is highly regarded
