Solar Solution Engineer (Project Engineer) - Hải Phòng

We are seeking a Solar Solution Engineer with strong technical acumen and client- centric thinking. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between our technical capabilities and the real- world needs of clients. You will design and optimize solar power systems—both technically and financially—while working closely with the sales team to tailor solutions that truly meet customer objectives.
1 . Technical (60–70%)
- Coordinate with the Project Engineering and O&M teams to ensure technical alignment through execution.
- Develop financial models to evaluate return on investment (ROI), Levelized Cost of Electricity (LCOE), and payback periods.
- Conduct site assessments and analyze irradiance, shading, and structural factors.
- Optimize existing solar designs for performance, cost, and compliance with local regulations and grid codes.
- Stay updated with the latest in solar technologies, inverters, batteries, and balance- of- system components.
- Design solar PV systems (rooftop, hybrid, agrivoltaics...) using tools such as PVsyst, AutoCAD, and Homer.
Solution Consulting (30–40%)
- Engage directly with end clients to explain system performance, financial benefits, and technical trade- offs.
- Translate technical analysis into compelling, understandable proposals and presentations for clients.
- Identify upsell or value- engineering opportunities based on client pain points.
- Provide technical support during client meetings, RFPs, and negotiations.
- Collaborate with sales and business development teams to understand customer goals, site constraints, and industry- specific needs.

- Customer- first mindset and solution- oriented approach.
- Excellent communication skills in both technical and non- technical contexts.
- 2+ years of experience in solar PV system design, EPC, or pre- sales engineering.
- Proficiency in design and simulation tools (PVsyst, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Excel).
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
- Vietnamese and English fluency preferred (technical English level).
- Strong grasp of solar system economics, including CAPEX, OPEX, tariff structures, and carbon credit opportunities.
Nice to Have
- Experience with utility- scale or C&I (Commercial & Industrial) solar projects.
- Familiarity with energy storage and hybrid systems.
- Knowledge of permitting and regulatory processes in Vietnam or SE Asia.
