Spa Supervisor

Must provide a detailed explanation of all treatment techniques to be used on guest, as well as their comfort, assessing guest’s requirements and concerns, and anticipating guest’s needs. Provide any additional details or services to go above and beyond the guests’ expectations.
Ensure that inventories are conducted regularly and accurately for all retail products, linen and professional products.
Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.
Will provide assistance in servicing guests in between training schedules.
Responsible for supervising and mentoring Therapists as per the established Spa Protocols, and Corporate Standards, Policies and Procedures.
Must ensure Therapists maintain a medical facility grade of cleanliness in the treatment area at all times, and practicing all sanitation and safety guidelines as required
Communicates with partnering departments and peers to achieve superior customer satisfaction and efficient utilization of manpower and facilities.
Market and sell the spa facilities, services, and products conveying their opulence to the customer.
Will work to maintain vendor relationships for the brand and will develop brand standards for services, products, protocols, and retail support.
Promotes a positive work environment that stimulates and motivates employees to acceptable levels of turnover, absenteeism, and promotions.
Helps facilitate daily operations of the Spa to reflect sophistication in services and seamless service to the customer.
Keeps leadership informed on a timely basis of any undue variance from expected results.
Responsible for helping standardize, maintain, update and training of all Therapists on Spa policies.
Trains, motivates, and provides regular communication to the team to deliver service with unmatched sophistication and professionalism while fostering a culture of accountability.
Conduct a daily walk- through and inspection of the spa, fitness and retail facilities.
Supervise spa reservations to ensure maximum yield and labor efficiency.
Ensures all activities performed within the department are in accordance with the company’s business objectives, and established safety and security standards.
Proactively making certain the facility, services and equipment are clean and in optimal working order.
Assist in the development and update of Spa service offerings.
Must be able to assist in the training of Therapists with a set of thorough, expert, complete and knowledgeable massage treatments, always using professional methods, draping techniques and adhering to the Therapists Code of Ethics.
Must practice methods, which comply with sanitation, and health guidelines established by local regulations and the Property’s Policies and Procedures.Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the Spa and Fitness areas.
Maintains close work relationships with other departments and their leaders to promote feedback, cross training and efficient operations.
Recommend personnel changes in assigned areas, including promotion, demotion, and vacations, leaves of absence and release of staff.

Ability to communicate fluently in the primary language of the workplace both verbally and nonverbally.Fluent in English.
Microsoft Office knowledge required.
Work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision.
Capacity to foster productive relations with peers and assure teamwork is the prevailing way to do business.
Organized, can multi- task, good problem solving skills and detail- oriented.
Warm, enthusiastic manner, with excellent interpersonal skills, able to create a professional and comfortable environment for all spa employees.
College degree is required.
Must present a well- groomed appearance.
Two years experience working required.
One- year department experience preferred.
