SRE/DevOps Engineer

SVTECH is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our Infrastructure & Platform team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure and services — working across system design, deployment, automation, security scanning, monitoring, and incident response to deliver robust solutions for our customers.
Key Responsibilities

Design and implement solutions for data collection, processing, analysis, and integration in ISP and large- scale IT environments.
Design, build, and deploy application systems ensuring high availability, clustering, and distributed mechanisms.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
Participate in system operations, on- call support, and troubleshooting for customer environments.
Convert, integrate, and deploy applications and services on Cloud- Native and container- based architectures.
Develop, customize, and integrate monitoring and observability features into the platform ecosystem (metrics, logs, traces).
Develop and extend automation frameworks (Ansible, etc.) for large- scale system deployment and operations on open- source platforms.
Research and evaluate SDN, Public/Private/Hybrid Cloud solutions for infrastructure improvement.

Infrastructure as Code: Ansible or Terraform for provisioning and configuration management.
Strong hands- on Linux/Unix systems administration and shell scripting.
Experience with Git- based workflows (GitHub/GitLab) and code review practices.
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions
Experience deploying microservices and Cloud- Native applications on Public/Private/Hybrid Cloud.
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, firewalls, load balancers.
Working knowledge of databases: Time Series (InfluxDB), Elasticsearch, and RDBMS — including MariaDB high availability setups (Galera Cluste OR Master- Slave replication, MaxScale).
Solid Kubernetes experience: Helm, RBAC, resource management; multi- cluster awareness is a plus.
Participate in system operations support and troubleshooting for customer environments.
Scripting proficiency: Bash and at least one of Python or Go for automation tasks.
Hands- on with monitoring and observability stacks: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK or Loki; able to define alerting rules and SLOs.
General Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Proficient English reading ability; strong self- learning and research skills in open- source technologies.
Comfort with Unix/Linux as primary working environment.
