JOB SUMMARY
Receive, store, and deliver to concerning department hotel purchasing items. To maintain the sanitation
ensure that all food is maintained to company standards.

JOB SPECIFIC TASKS
Receive all incoming deliveries to the hotel.
Receive and store food and beverage (if applicable) items.
Secure the receiving room and its contents, ensuring safekeeping of same.
Maintain accurate logbooks on receiving transactions.
Direct all deliveries not under jurisdiction of the receiving room to the proper areas.
Clean and maintain all room equipment, if applicable.
Properly date, label and rotate all items according to Marriott standard. Follow correct food handling
procedures.
Complete all requisitions in a timely manner. Ensure only written requisitioned items are removed from
storeroom.
Maintain clean and orderly refrigerators, freezers and work areas.
Pull items from freezer as listed on pull chart.
Notify immediate supervisor of any items that are low or out of stock.
