SUPPLIER QUALITY SECTION MANAGER

JOB PURPOSE:

Management of Incoming Quality Inspection, Supplier Quality, Lab activities.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The scope of work of the position focuses on Supplier Quality, IQC, Measurement and Lab Engineering Management.

Accountable for the result of the Incoming sample evaluation report.
Accounting for 5S of working area in SQE, IQC, and Lab following company regulation
Accountable for the supplier’s first audit including checking self- assessment of the supplier, audit implementation, and follow- up findings after the audit until they are closed.
Responsible for blocked warehouse management
Report performance of supplier quality management, incoming inspection and Lab weekly or as requested.
Accountable for on- time incoming quality inspection for material and mold/jig
Accountable for calibration management and internal verification
Accountable for tracking supplier quality performance (scorecard) on VAC management software.
Accountable for supplier periodical audit
Approve the result of incoming quality inspection after checking it according to Work instruction (WI), Standard inspection procedure (SIP) applied for material and mold/jig.
Motivate improvement ideas in supplier quality management, incoming inspection, and Lab.
Accountable for on- time and the accuracy of Lab test according to Control plan, customer requirements or other request from relevance department
Report and escalate quality issues of material, mold/jig to the QA Manager and relevant departments when an abnormal situation happens.
Accountable for Quality management system development or other systems as requested.
Control for Lab equipment performance
Accountable for the performance of SQE staffs when they handle quality abnormal from suppliers (such as requesting Supplier Defect Material Review and/or Supplier Correction Action )
Guide for IQC Technician, SQE to take action when finding nonconformity after material, mold/jig inspection including concession activity.
Work with external lab for test request if any
Analyze on the results and communicate to concerning people
Guide SQE staff to develop suppliers according to APQP, check and approve PPAP documents from the supplier
Train employees who can do supplier quality management, incoming inspection, and Lab, skill matrix evaluation according to company regulation.
Track and summary of the KPI performance related to supplier quality management, incoming inspection, and Lab monthly

Good English 4 skills.
Certified Auditor on VDA 6.3 or IATF 16949 internal auditor is a plus.
Knowledge about composite (Carbon fiber- resin) and mold/jig is preferred
Good Microsoft Office skills
Experience in the supplier quality management, incoming quality control, and Lab management (at least three years)
Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering field.
Experience working in automative company running according IATF is a plus
