Technical Manager / Technology Manager

Job Description:
Apply Lean Management principles to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize production costs.
Oversee technical preparation before new product mass production.
Lead the development and validation of new technologies, structures, equipment, and processes; convert them into company standards.
Provide regular technical reports on process improvements and new technology applications to management.
Collaborate with the R&D department to develop and launch new products smoothly into mass production.
Research and adopt new technologies and processes, applying them effectively to the factory’s production system.
Establish, manage, and update factory technical and process standards.
Train and develop the technical team to improve professional capabilities and ensure compliance with procedures
Analyze, evaluate, and improve processes such as wood sawing, drying, machining, foam molding, sewing, metal cutting, and welding.
Monitor and optimize production processes, promptly identify and resolve technical, process, and quality issues.
Conduct regular production site inspections to identify problems and propose improvement solutions.
Propose technical solutions to reduce cost and improve efficiency and quality of wood, metal, and upholstered furniture.
Lead and participate in product testing activities to ensure compliance with furniture quality standards.

Experience Requirement:

Minimum 10 years of experience in the furniture industry.
At least 5 years in a Technical Manager or Supervisor role in a large- scale factory.

Languages: Good command of English or Chinese as a working language.
Skills:

Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Analytical thinking and problem- solving skills.
Deep understanding of furniture production processes and quality standards (wood, upholstered, and metal furniture).

Strategic mindset and ability to collaborate effectively with other departments (R&D, Production, QC, etc.).
