The Training Manager drives the learning and development agenda for the cosmetics portfolio, ensuring every team member and retail partner delivers a consistent, premium brand experience. This role designs and implements impactful training programs that elevate product expertise, strengthen customer engagement, and boost sell- out performance. The ideal candidate combines deep passion for beauty with strong communication and facilitation skills, transforming knowledge into measurable results across both in- house and retail teams.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of trainers and educational specialists.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Monitor and evaluate trainer performance, providing coaching and feedback to ensure high standards.
• Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, address challenges, and align with department objectives.
• Ensure BA team grooming standards and appearance compliance.
• Assign tasks and projects based on individual strengths and capabilities.
Training Program Development & Implementation
• Guide team members in developing coaching modules for BA teams (e.g., selling skills, objection handling, customer engagement).
• Tailor training initiatives for diverse audiences including sales teams, retail staff, internal teams, and external partners.
• Design comprehensive training programs for new and existing employees, covering product knowledge, application techniques, sales skills, and customer service.
Content Creation
• Develop engaging training materials such as manuals, presentations, video tutorials, and e- learning modules.
• Adapt content to different learning styles and operational needs
Training Delivery
• Conduct in- person and virtual training sessions for internal teams and retail partners.
• Ensure training delivery is interactive, engaging, and aligned with brand values.
Continuous Improvement
• Continuously refine training content, structure, and delivery methods based on insights.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
Cross- Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Marketing, Medical, and Sales teams to align training with product launches, brand messaging, and commercial goals.
Support & Coaching
• Ensure new skills are effectively applied in retail environments.
• Provide ongoing coaching and support to trainees and BA teams.
Event Coordination
• Manage logistics and coordinate with external vendors when necessary.
• Plan, organize, and execute training events, workshops, and seminars.
Industry & Product Expertise
• Stay updated on beauty trends, product innovations, training best practices, and competitor activities.
• Integrate insights into training content and team capability building
Reporting
• Prepare and present regular reports on training progress, outcomes, and business impact to senior management.

Qualifications
• Strong understanding of beauty/cosmetics products and industry trends.
• Proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related fields.
Experience
• Proven track record in designing and delivering effective training programs.
• 4- 5 years in a Training, Education, or Sales Training role (beauty industry preferred).
• Experience coaching frontline teams (BA, retail staff) and collaborating crossfunctionally (Marketing, Sales, Medical).
• Exposure to both in- person and digital/e- learning training formats.
Skills & Competencies
• Ability to design, update, and deliver impactful training programs.
• Proficiency in digital training tools and e- learning platforms.
• Leadership capability to guide and develop trainers and support BA performance.
• Strong organizational and project- management skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
• Confident communication and cross- functional coordination (Marketing, Sales, Medical, KAM/ASM).
• Analytical mindset with ability to evaluate training effectiveness and provide actionable insights.
• Customer- centric mindset with passion for beauty and strong brand ambassador qualities
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills.
