Financial:
• Along with Bar Manager, prepare the annual budget for the bar.
• Optimize costs aligned to the budget and deliver bottom line profit.
• Develop tactics aligned to the strategy to drive top line revenue.
• Analyze the monthly P&L report and present variances with corrective actions to Bar Manager.
Operations:
• Drive sales through effective promotion, planning and execution.
• To ensure Health and Safety practices are maintained at all times, including manual handling and stacking of items.
• Assist in the development of Food and Beverage Menu.
• Maintain cleanliness standards in the bar area and ensure that all glassware and utensils are properly sanitized.
• Develop, implement and continually review the policies, procedures, practices and standards.
• Liaise with external vendors for uninterrupted service delivery.
• Handle customer complaints in a professional and efficient manner. Escalate to Bar Manager.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders when necessary to ensure that the bar is fully stocked at all times.
• Keep up to date with competition, new products, trends, and promotions in order to make recommendations to Bar Manager.
• Help plan and execute special events held at the bar.
• Ensure 100% compliance with local laws and regulations including Food, Safety and Hygiene.
Staffing:
• Supervise and train junior staff members, including bartenders and barbacks, waiter,… ensuring that they are providing excellent customer service.
• Be involved in the recruitment of the bar staff.
• To carry out appraisals with staff on a regular basis.
Yêu cầu công việc
- Problem solving, organizational and training abilities.
- Proficient Management skills.
- 1- 2 years of working experience in the same position at Hotels/ Resorts.
- Good command of English communication.
- Diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
