Upholstery Production Manager (Trưởng phòng sản xuất)

Job Purpose

Lead & manage end- to- end upholstery production to ensure on- time delivery, cost efficiency, and quality excellence, aligned with company’s operational and business targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily production activities for upholstery (sofa, chair, cushions)
- Monitor capacity, manpower allocation & production efficiency
- Control production flow: cutting – sewing – assembly – finishing
- Ensure production plan meets delivery schedule & output targets

- Work with QA/QC for quality improvements
- Reduce defect rate, rework, and customer complaints
- Lead root cause analysis & corrective actions
- Ensure products meet internal & client quality standards

Quality Control

- Drive lean manufacturing / continuous improvement (Kaizen, 5S)
- Optimize labor productivity & material usage
- Improve line balancing & cycle time
- Control production cost vs budget

Production Management

- Build strong middle layer capability
- Drive performance culture
- Lead production team (Supervisors, Line leaders, Workers)
- Train workforce on skills, safety & quality standards

- Lead safety training & incident prevention
- Maintain safe working environment
- Ensure compliance with EHS standards

Cross- functional Collaboration

- Coordinate with Sales/Customer
- Work with Planning, IE, QA, Supply Chain
- Support new product development (NPI)

Soft Skills

- 3+ years in management role
- Upholstery experience required
