Key Responsibilities
The Country Programme Manager is accountable for the end- to- end delivery of major transformational programmes within the country. This role ensures that complex, multi- year initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to strategic objectives, while meeting regulatory, risk, and governance requirements. The role acts as the single point of accountability for programme execution at the country level, working closely with country and regional management, programme sponsors, technology, operations, and risk functions.
Programme Delivery & Execution:
Translate global and regional strategics to country specific execution plans.
Own the end- to- end delivery of one or more large scale transformation programmes, from initiation through to benefits realization.
Proactively manage interdependences across workstreams, vendors, and parallel initiatives.
Ensure programmes deliver measurable business outcomes, not just technical milestones.
Governance, Risk & Control
Provide accurate, transparent reporting on programme status, financials, risks, and outcomes to country and regional leadership.
Identify, assess, and actively manage programme risks, issues, and dependencies; drive timely resolution and escalation where required.
Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory obligations, audit requirements, and risk management standards.
Establish and maintain strong programme governance, including steering committees, stage gates, and escalation mechanisms.
Stakeholder & Change Management
Own programme budgets, forecasts, and financial controls, ensuring disciplined cost management and value delivery.
Manage internal and external resources including programme teams, vendors, and system integrators.
Drive alignment between country and region; business and technology stakeholders to ensure shared ownership of outcomes.
Yêu cầu công việc
15+ years in IT banking technology and proven experience in leading large scale, complex transformation programmes in a bank.
Deep understanding of programmer governance, risk management, and financial controls.
English: At least Upper- Intermediate level.
Strong track record of delivering programmes involving technology, process, and organisational change.
Strong delivery mindset with ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities.
Having at least 5 years experience as IT programme Manager or IT programme Director.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, or a related field.
