Job Responsibilities
The role of the General Manager includes the following responsibilities:
To manage the business development process for regional growth
To develop and manage budgets to ensure the client is operating within its financial constraints.
To develop and implement strategies that help client achieve their goals, increase revenue, and improve efficiency.
To eloquently present and showcase the value proposition of the offered products or services to clients during sales pitches, trade shows, or other opportunities.
To identify the Growth and Expansion Tracks and lead Business Development programs for the client in Vietnam.
To provide effective leadership, guidance, and mentorship by formulating performance goals and objectives to ensure team members meet the company’s performance standards.
To cultivate and maintain new and existing relationships with customers to promote the organization&039;s interests and ensure its success.
To strategize sales activities within assigned territories, identifying potential clients through industry market research, networking, and competitor activities
Overall, the General Manager is responsible for ensuring that the organization is meeting the overall growth plans and profitability requirements as set by the board of directors by managing both the expansion programs and ensuring smooth commercial operations.
Specific task:
- People management
- Improving internal processes for better productivity
- Overseeing large projects and interpreting performance reports
- Developing key performance goals and managing the performance of the staff
- Ensuring that departments or units deliver quality offerings to clients
- Business Process – Develop business process in accordance with the company’s requirements, in accordance with local law.
- Oversee the setup of the GSP warehouse
- Managing the budget and monitoring the financial health of a location or business unit
- Working closely with Account Managers and other senior staff to improve efficiency and performance
- Managing the recruitment, hiring, and training processes
- Manage the Vietnam organisation structure to position for growth. (Transit from current model to new service model)
- Sales team development and go- to- market strategy. – Dealer model
- Creating and implementing strategies for business growth
- Partner with regional stakeholders to develop business activities in Vietnam
Teams:
- Regulatory team
- Sales team in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh
- Operational manager
- Technical & Application team
Yêu cầu công việc
Necessary Skill / Experience
・Languages: English- Business Level.
・Experience & Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of the requirements of applicable regulatory/laws and industry standards
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Understanding of the GSP, GDP warehouse, 3PLs, and 4PLs services
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
- Ability to effectively present information to Senior management and other groups
- Understanding of process development
- Strong analytical and problem- solving skills
Preferable Skill / Experience
・Medical devices and science industrial management experience is a plus
・Preferably a Bachelor of Science degree in a Science- related field
